- Ann Arbor Group Screening Tests - The Wide Range Intelligence Test - The Wide Range Achievment Test - Ann Arbor Learning InventoryThe AALI skill assessments provide the nucleus for an Individual Education Plan (IEP).- Administer the appropriate age Group Screening Test. If there is an at risk factor:-- Administer the Wide Range Intelligence Test (WRIT) and determine verbal, visual and full scale IQ.- Administer the Wide Range Achievement Test (WRAT-4) and obtain Standard Scores for word recognition, spelling and arithmetic.- Score and see whether there is a significant discrepancy between standardised IQ scores and individual literacy and/or numeracy scores - a measure of significance is 15 points or one Standard Deviation from the Mean.- If there is a discrepancy, administer the Ann Arbor Learning Inventory appropriate to the childs age and examine whether there are any perceptual weaknesses which are the cause of the discrepancy between attainment and potential.- Implement the suggested programmes of remediation detailed in the Ann Arbor Learning Inventory Manual as part of the childs IEP.
