This popular workbook is one of several visual tracking books in the renowned Ann Arbor programme.
The tracking exercises are designed to help students strengthen left-to-right progression by scanning lines of print to find specific words. Other benefits derived from tracking tasks include building visual discrimination skills, elimination of reversals and omissions and more.
Using the Francis-Kucera word list, these exercises simultaneously familiarise students with the 500 most frequently used words in the English language. The exercises can be timed to give students positive feedback about their progress.
A 7 - 8 year old reading level is required. Appropriate for both young at-level students and older students in remedial programmes.
