Occupational therapy [OT] centres on providing support to people of all ages with physical, sensory, cognitive, psychological or social challenges, Support by way of assessment and intervention seeks to develop or regain independence by maximising an individual’s ability to carry out everyday activities they wish or need to complete whilst faced with illness, injury, disability or challenging life circumstances.
