Fine Tuning: An Auditory-Visual

Here is an auditory-visual programme to shore up the listening skills of students who seem unable to follow simple verbal instructions. The class follows the teacher’s verbal directives - e.g., "Draw a line from 25 to 33" or "In the E-7 square write the letter T" - on an assortment of grids which result in completed designs, figures, signs, etc.

The kids will love it - they can’t wait to see the finished product!

The exercises can be used with an entire class, in small groups or individually. Exercises start with simple designs and progress to more challenging ones.
