Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalog, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

We accept credit card payment.

We accept Visa, Mastercard and Switch. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or pay via our secure system over the Internet. We use SagePay to handle our credit and debit card transactions.

Shipping And Handling

UK orders are delivered free if over £100. Overseas orders will be charged shipping based on weight and will be sent by Royal Mail or Parcelforce depending on choice (availability restricted by location).

If possible please provide a delivery address where goods can be signed for during the working day. If goods are returned to us because there was no one to sign for them or they were not collected we will charge for delivery and return costs.

Delivery Schedule

We deliver your order right away. We will normally send your order to you in 3 business days . International orders are generally received in under 8 days.

Where goods are out of stock and cannot be delivered within 15 days of order you will be advised by E-mail and your agreement obtained for another time for delivery.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges

For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is added where appropriate. All other orders are VAT free and you should click the exempt button to reduce VAT to zero . Vat Number: 358 682705

Credit Card Security

We use SagePay to handled all online card transactions. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are not held in clear text on any web site.


Problems are rare but when they do occur we realise they can be frustrating to you, our customer. Any complaints will be handled courteously and quickly by Director Peter Laverack and you should ask for him when contacting Ann Arbor Publishers. Peter will endeavour to respond to your complaint within 5 working days.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase for whatever reason the products may be returned, within 15 days of receipt by you of the goods, for a full refund or account credit (whichever your prefer) to the value of the goods ordered. The refund and/or account credit will be made within 30 days of receipt by Ann Arbor of the returned goods. This does not apply to software which once opened cannot be returned unless faulty (and if faulty only for a replacement). Software cannot be sent 'on approval'.

However, the material must be returned in 'as new' condition and accordingly we recommend items are securely packed and sent carriage paid by recorded and insured delivery. You are responsible for the return delivery charges. Damaged or used goods will be charged in full except 'faulty goods' as defined below.
This guarantee is in addition to your Statutory rights.

Returns Policy

Your Statutory Rights:

Under current legislation you have the right to cancel your order within 7 days without giving a reason for doing so, starting from the day after you receive your goods. To exercise this right you must inform us of your wish to cancel by email to by fax to 01668 214484 or by letter to the address at the top of this page. Please state clearly the goods you wish to return along with the invoice number. It is your responsibility to arrange safe return of any goods you wish to return within a reasonable time following your cancellation notification. We will credit your credit/debit card within 30 days of your cancellation with the full invoice cost, except where goods have had to be collected from you where a charge for this cost will be deducted. Goods should be unused and in good condition.

The above does not apply to software where the seal is broken.

Faulty goods:

If you have received the incorrect goods or the goods you have received are faulty or damaged you must advise us within 10 working days of receipt using the contact details below stating the exact nature of the problem.

If you wish to return an item please call us on 01668 214460 or email us at stating the reason for return and your order number from your invoice.

We will refund your credit or debit card for the value of the goods, original delivery charges and return postage within 30 days of receipt by us of the returned goods.

Please ensure when you are returning goods to ourselves that you use recorded delivery so that you can evidence the goods have been sent to us. For advice on the best ways to return goods please contact us on 01668 214460.
